Join us for our 18th Point-of-care Ultrasound (POCUS) CME Workshops on Jan 29 - Feb 2, 2025 in Austin, Texas! There will be 4 separate CME courses over 5 days for clinicians with different educational needs:
- Day 1 - Faculty Development Workshop - Designed for POCUS expert faculty who lead POCUS programs at their institutions, routinely teach novice users, and are seeking to advance their POCUS clinical and leadership skills.
- Days 2 & 3 – Adult Basic POCUS Course – Traditional 2-day POCUS course combining focused didactics and hands-on scanning led by expert faculty in small groups of 2 learners. This course counts toward the SHM-Chest POCUS Certificate of Completion program.
- Days 2 & 3 – Pediatric POCUS Course – Geared toward pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, and neonatologists who are novice users in POCUS. Training is led by pediatric POCUS experts from top children’s hospitals.
- Days 4 & 5 – Advanced Cardiac POCUS Course – For physicians proficient in basic cardiac ultrasound seeking training in advanced cardiac applications, including assessment of right and left ventricular function and valvular heart disease.
