Pediatric Inpatient Billing

The goal of the talk will be to review ways to optimize billing in the pediatric inpatient setting, impact of documentation on optimizing billing, and review of acute care billing codes. We will be featuring two speakers:

Sejal Bavishi is the Division Chief for General Pediatrics and the Section Chief of Inpatient Pediatrics. She practices both as a hospitalist and general pediatrician. Her academic interests include business in medicine and inpatient operations.

Sarah Deutsch is the Program Director for the Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program. She is a practicing Med-Peds hospitalist. Her academic interests include feedback and learning environment education.
