Please join us for a talk with Dr. Jonathan Woo, Chair of the Department of Medicine at Penn Medicine Princeton Health. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives in patient safety, quality improvement, and healthcare delivery innovation. His research focuses on precision hospital medicine, integrating generative AI and multi-agent systems with predictive modeling to improve outcomes for hospitalized patients.

Dr. Woo developed the MATEC Framework (Multi-AI Agent Team Care)—an innovative architecture that enables the orchestration of multiple intelligent agents to simulate and support team-based clinical care. His Healthcare AI lab advances generative AI research while developing practical clinical applications using electronic health records and genomic data. He has developed and published prediction models for stroke, cardiovascular disease, postoperative complications, and other acute conditions.  His research emphasizes personalized medicine that enhances clinical outcomes while integrating seamlessly into healthcare workflows. Prior to his current role, he served as a Division Chief at Jefferson and NorthShore, and as clinical faculty at Stanford. Dr. Woo completed his Internal Medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowship in Nephrology at Stanford University.
