The SHM West Texas chapter is pleased to collaborate with Texas Tech University and UMC Health System for the West Texas Summer Symposium on Hospital Medicine on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center - Academic Event Center in Lubbock, TX. With the ever-increasing medical knowledge, it is difficult for the in-patient, generalist physician to stay current and up-to-date with medical knowledge and procedures. This conference will bring experts from several specialty areas together to update the generalist physicians and other health care professionals in the West Texas area. 

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, UMC Health System and the Society of Hospital Medicine-West Texas Chapter. The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM . Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
