Join the SHM District 1 Chapters for their first-ever virtual regional RIV Poster Competition and SHM’s COVID-19 Response and CME Lecture from Danielle Scheurer, MD, MSCR, SFHM, President, Society of Hospital Medicine. We hope you'll join us then!

Objectives:
1. Showcase SHM’s COVID-19 response
2. Review COVID-19 and cardiovascular disease for hospitalists:
• Review epidemiologic data on the association between cardiovascular disease, COVID-19, and mortality
• Identify the four major manifestations of cardiovascular disease associated with COVID-19 infection
• Summarize the evidence on cardiac biomarker prevalence in COVID-19 and review guidelines on appropriate use

6:00-7:00 PM - RIV Poster Presentations (2 from each category= 6 total)
7:00-8:00 PM - SHM’s COVID-19 Response and CME Lecture
8:00-8:30 PM - Winner Announcements
