The SHM Pee Dee Chapter will be hosting an in-person event on Thursday, November 21st at 6:00 p.m. ET at Greg Normal Australian Grille in Myrtle Beach, SC. Please join the chapter to meet and network with other clinicians in your community and for an educational presentation titled "Medical Malpractice: A Practical Guide for Physicians," provided by Marian Scalise, JD. If you are unable to join us in person, please join virtually by emailing chapters@hospitalmedicine.org for the Zoom meeting information after you register for the event.

Marian Williams Scalise is a shareholder of Richardson Plowden in the Myrtle Beach office. She focuses her practice on medical malpractice, professional malpractice, and insurance defense. She defends hospitals, physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, dental specialists, nurses, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Mrs. Scalise is Richardson Plowden’s first female shareholder and is a third-generation lawyer.
