Call for Abstracts

The SHM Southwest Florida Chapter invites Residents and Medical Students to submit posters for its Scientific Abstract Competition. All submissions should include a poster using the instructions provided below.

Submission Categories: 1. Research 2. Innovations 3. Clinical Vignettes

Submission Deadline: January 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Submission Instructions: Please submit your abstract to swfchaptershm@gmail.com.

Notification of Acceptance: January 21, 2025

The top-scoring poster will receive automatic acceptance to the National Scientific Abstract Competition taking place during Converge 2026 in Nashville, TN. Winners will be required to submit their abstract to the national submission site in order to be accepted. The second place winner will receive a $200 Amazon gift card and the third place winner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
