The Sacramento Chapter will be hosting its inaugural event for members and non-members on Monday, November 6th at 6:00 p.m. PT at the Hotel Roanoke in Zocalo University Village in Sacramento, CA.  Please join the chapter for networking with other hospitalists in your area and for an educational presentation titled "Leadership in Hospital Medicine," provided by Dr. Paul Aronowitz, Health Sciences Clinical Professor of Medicine at UC Davis.

Welcome Members!
SHM is pleased to announce the formation of the Sacramento Chapter of the Society of Hospital Medicine.  As a member of SHM located in the Sacramento area and surrounding counties, we welcome you as a member of this chapter!  You now have access to the Sacramento Chapter community in HMX, a place exclusive for members to learn about local chapter activities and events and discuss areas of interest that are currently impacting hospital medicine.  The HMX community also serves as a way to network with the chapter leadership and other members local to you.  We encourage you to attend the chapter’s inaugural meeting on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Zocalo University Village to meet the chapter’s founding leaders and network with other local hospitalists.
