The SHM Arizona Chapter will be hosting an in-person event on Thursday, May 8th at 6:00 p.m. MT. at The Gladly in Phoenix, AZ. Please join the chapter to meet and network with other hospitalists in your community and for an educational presentation titled "POCUS Unlocked: Bringing Bedside Ultrasound Into Your Daily Practice," provided by Dr. Firas Abbas.

Dr. Abbas demonstrates a profound dedication to Point-ofCare Ultrasound (POCUS), holding multiple certifications from esteemed organizations such as the American Academy of Chest Physicians and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Additionally, he actively collaborates with the University of Arizona, contributing to the Doctoring program and Simlab POCUS training for medical students. He has participated as National faculty in multiple POCUS workshops.
