Please join us to meet and network with other hospitalists in your community and for an educational presentation titled, "Influencing Health Policy: The Hospitalist's Voice in The Evolving Healthcare Landscape" provided by Dr. Akshay Kapoor of Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Prior to his training in medicine, Dr. Kapoor served as a Senior Health Policy Advisor in the U.S. House of Representatives and as a Senior Health Advisor and Consultant for various Governors at the National Governors Association, and he has policy expertise in insurance marketplaces, interoperability, public health, and regulation of pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements.
