The SHM District 4 Chapters will be holding collaborative virtual meeting on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Every day, SHM team members are working to deliver value to you as a hospital medicine professional. Just one of those efforts is advocating for performance metrics that are truly meaningful to you and your patients. At this "town hall" meeting, we will be asking for YOUR input – what’s working well? What’s driving you crazy? What could you accomplish at your hospital “if only we had…” or “if only we didn’t have to…”? Is aiming for the metric helping in your opinion or drawing you away from other more important tasks? Feel like you don’t have a voice or are only one voice? That is what SHM is all about— adding your voice to many others to make a difference. Be a part of the change you want to see! This “town hall” meeting will be facilitated by two members of SHM’s Performance Metrics and Reporting Committee, Dr. Ruby Sahoo and Dr. Thomas Miller, in conjunction with their presentation, ““Data Mining or Undermining: The Challenges of Performance Metrics" at the November 4-6, 2022 District 4 Conference in Asheville, NC.
