The SHM Hampton Roads Chapter will be hosting their Annual Scientific Abstract Competition virtually on Wednesday, April 3rd at 6:00 p.m. ET. This event will feature oral presentations by residents and medical students whose abstracts were accepted to SHM's National Scientific Abstract Competition taking place at Converge 2024. This is an opportunity for these participants to enhance their presentation skills while adding a noteworthy accomplishment to their careers. 6:00-6:10 p.m. Introductions and chapter announcements
6:10-8:30 p.m. Presentation of abstracts (11) followed by 3-5 minutes of Q&A after each presentation
8:30-9:00 p.m. Judges deliberate and announce the winners
