The SHM Hampton Roads Chapter is hosting a virtual meeting on Tuesday, December 2nd at 6:00 p.m. ET. Please join the chapter for an educational presentation titled "Artificial Intelligence: Role in Clinical Learning and Healthcare," provided by Dr. Saad Mussarat.

Dr. Saad Mussarat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University where he is actively engaged in teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring across multiple levels of medical education. He earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University and completed his internal medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Mussarat is passionate about the intersection of technology and medicine. He recently completed an Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare certification from MIT Sloan School of Management, which has deepened his commitment to exploring AI’s transformative role in patient care and medical education. His current interests focus on the application of artificial intelligence in clinical decision support and optimizing patient workflows, with the goal of advancing both efficiency and quality of healthcare delivery.
