The SHM Maine Chapter is excited to announce that our state-wide scientific abstract competition will return this fall for the 8th time. Please join in-person on Saturday, November 15th at 8:00 a.m. ET at the Portland Regency Hotel in Portland, ME to meet and network with other Maine clinicians while supporting the academic work by students and residents from multiple disciplines. This event will also feature two educational presentations titled "Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease: Distilling an Emerging Crisis," provided by Dr. Adam Winters and "When the Liver Crashes: Differentiating Injury, Failure, and Decompensation," provided by Dr. Martin Moehlen. Coffee and breakfast will be served.
