This course will provide an introduction of POCUS principles, applications, and techniques. The course will focus on bedside ultrasound use in evaluating and treating hospitalized medical patients. The course is directed by faculty who have completed the national CHEST certificate of completion and taken further advanced ultrasound course work. The hands-on segments will use live models as well as scanning on the wards to deliver as much practical experience as possible to attendees, establishing a solid basis for their clinical ultrasound practice.
Registration fee includes breakfast and lunch both days, as well as snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
Cancellations: Notice of registration cancellation for the Minnesota Chapter POCUS Course must be made in writing via email to chapters@hospitalmedicine.org. Cancellations will not be accepted after July 15th.
