The SHM Middle Tennessee Chapter is hosting an in-person event on Wednesday, June 5th at 6:00 p.m. CT at Nicky's Coal Fired Pizza in Nashville, TN. Please join us in celebrating the human in the hospitalist. This meeting will focus on physician wellness and burnout. Our speaker will be Michael Baron, MD, MPH, Medical Director of the Tennessee Medical Foundation. He is Board certified in psychiatry, anesthesiology and addiction. He will be discussing Physician Health Programs (PHP) in TN and around the country. PHPs are intended to support and advocate for physicians and other healthcare workers affected by mental health disorders, addiction, and burnout.

Our chapter will also be showcasing various forms of leisure activities that local hospitalists are engaged in to combat stress and burnout.
