Call for Abstracts

The SHM NYC/Westchester and Long Island Chapters invite Medical Students, Residents, Physician Assistants (PAs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), PA Students and NP Students to participate in their joint Scientific Abstract Competition.

Submission Categories: 1. Research 2. Innovations 3. Clinical Vignettes

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. ET

Submission Instructions: Please submit abstracts to shmnycwestchesterlichapters@gmail.com.

Each chapter will select one overall winner to receive automatic acceptance to the National Scientific Abstract Competition at SHM's annual conference, Converge, April 22-25, 2025 in Las Vegas, NV. The two selected authors must submit their abstracts to the national submission site by the November 25, 2024 deadline in order to be accepted. The top NYC/Westchester Chapter author can apply for a travel stipend at the chapter's discretion. Each chapter's second and third-place abstracts will receive a complimentary one-year SHM membership.
