The SHM NYC/Westchester Chapter is pleased to announce their 5th Annual Resident and Medical Student RIV Abstract Competition. The top abstract selected will receive automatic acceptance to the RIV Competition at the SHM annual conference as well as free registration and up to $500 for travel-related expenses. 

Submission deadline: November 8th, 2019

Submission Guidelines: Please refer to the abstract submission guidelines, available here.
Written abstracts will be evaluated and finalists will be notified on November 15, 2019. The finalists will be asked to give a 5-minute oral presentation of their abstract at the chapter meeting on the evening of November 20th. The final winner will be announced at this meeting. You are not required to be SHM member to submit your abstract to this competition.
