Call For Abstracts:
The SHM Pittsburgh Chapter invites all Residents, Fellows and Medical Students to submit abstracts to their 5th Annual Scientific Abstract Competition.
Submission categories: I. Research II. Innovations III. Clinical Vignettes
Poster submission deadline: Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 11:59 PM
Participation submission instructions: Abstracts must be emailed to pahospitalist@gmail.com by the October 30th deadline. Submissions must include abstract title, submitting author's full name, contact information (email and phone number) and Resident Director's name and email. Participant names must be included in their abstract file. No more than 2 submissions per participant.
Notification of Acceptance: Selected abstracts will be invited to present at the chapter's in-person event on Wednesday, November 16th.

The top scoring abstract will receive automatic acceptance to the National Scientific Abstract Competition taking at SHM's annual conference, Converge, March 26-29, 2023 in Austin, TX. This person will be required to submit their abstract to the national submission site by the November 29, 2022 deadline in order to be accepted. This winner will also receive a $1,500 travel stipend to attend the conference.
