The SHM District 11 (Oregon/ SW Washington, Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain) Chapters are pleased to collaborate for a virtual book club on Wednesday, October 11th at 6:00 p.m. PT. Please join the chapters for district wide updates and for an educational panel discussion focused on the book, The People's Hospital: Hope and Peril in American Medicine, by Dr. Ricardo Nuila.

Message from the organizer: "The People's Hospital, by fellow hospitalist Dr Ricardo Nuila, is a masterful combination of heartbreak, inspiration, personal stories and a global view of our (broken) healthcare system. We will be joined by the author himself as well as expert panelists from each of the District 11 Chapters."
