The Colorado Hospital Association (CHA), in collaboration with several partners, has been actively preparing for the upcoming respiratory season. Among the highest concern expressed by members is supporting frontline care providers in diagnosing, treating, and triaging pediatric and adolescent patients with RSV.

CHA will be hosting a free statewide virtual program about this issue from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. MT on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The webinar, 2023 Best Practices Caring for Children and Adolescents During the 2023-24 Respiratory Season, will cover several important clinical topics. Frontline care providers from the emergency department and inpatient medicine department should be encouraged to attend. The first hour of the program will include evidence-based didactics, followed by 30-minute breakout rooms specific for ED providers, inpatient providers, respiratory therapists, nurses, and pharmacists.
