Seeking a Fellow Member for the PHM 2022 Planning Committee The PHM 2021 Planning Committee, together with our sponsoring organizations (APA, AAP and SHM), is pleased to announce a call for applications for a PHM fellow member of the 2022 PHM Planning Committee.
The deadline to submit your application is February 22, 2021. Notification to the selected fellow will be sent in late March 2021.
Expectations:
Commit to serve on the planning committee for one year
Must attend PHM the year prior to and the year of planning committee membership (meeting fees and travel will be covered for the year the fellow is on the planning committee)
Participate in as many planning calls as possible (scheduled every other week, 1 hour)
Be an active contributing member of the planning committee
Eligibility/Requirements:
Applicants must:
Be current PHM fellows with at least one full year left of fellowship (first-year fellows in two-year programs and first- or two-year fellows in three-year programs) at the time of application
Commit to attending the PHM meeting and planning meeting at the beginning of their appointment to the committee and the PHM meeting they helped plan
Submit their CV, brief statement discussing why they would like to serve on the planning committee (word limit 400) and a letter of recommendation/support from their fellowship director.
All current members of the planning committee will review all applications and score with a standardized instrument. The applicant with the highest score will be selected.
