The monthly Mentorship Fireside Chat interviews with accomplished healthcare leaders supplement a 4-month workshop around mentorship. The Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) and the Wiregrass Chapter of SHM have embraced a 4-month academic experiment evaluating the mentor-mentee challenges using Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles. For the HCD workshop participants to empathize and understand the role of mentorship in a broader sense, we are interviewing accomplished healthcare leaders across the country each month.
