The SHM West Virginia Chapter will be hosting a virtual meeting on Wednesday, January 4th at 5:00 p.m. ET. Please join the chapter for an educational presentation titled "Understanding Intrathecal Drug Delivery System in the Inpatient Setting," provided by Dr. Rudy Malayil.
Speaker Bio:
Rudy Mathew Malayil, M.D., received his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, one of the top medical schools in India. He then completed his internship in General Surgery at New York Presbyterian/Cornell Hospital in New York City, followed by residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York University Medical School. Dr. Malayil further completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine at the Beth Israel Medical Center Campus in New York City.
Dr. Malayil is a member of the North American Neuromodulation Society, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Malayil is also the President for the West Virginia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and is a member of the West Virginia Medical Cannabis Advisory Board. After fellowship he went to work in private practice in Maryland before practicing in the Huntington, West Virginia area since January of 2015.
In 2022 Dr. Malayil started Pain Management 360 with is flagship site in Huntington West Virginia near the Marshall Football Stadium.
