The SHM Blue Ridge Chapter will be holding a virtual meeting on Monday, October 24th at 5:30 p.m. ET. Please join the chapter for an educational presentation titled "Stigma in Treating Patients with Substance Use Disorders," provided by Dr. Eloise Fields, Dr. Anna-Maria South and Dr. Dan Weaver. This lecture will go over the reasons why stigma exist in providing care for patients with SUD, discuss different expressions of stigma and its consequences, as well as discuss compassionate approaches to patient center care.'

The first meeting in this series will be on Monday, October 17th.
