SHM is pleased to announce the formation of the Central & SW Virginia Chapter of the Society of Hospital Medicine.  As a member of SHM located in the central and southwest region of the state, we welcome you as a member of this chapter!  You now have access to the Central & SW Virginia Chapter Community in HMX, a place exclusive for members to learn about local chapter activities and events and discuss areas of interest that are currently impacting hospital medicine.  The HMX community also serves as a way to network with the chapter leadership and other members local to you.  We encourage you to attend the chapter’s inaugural meeting on July 21^st at the Hotel Roanoke to meet the chapter’s founding leaders and network with other local hospitalists.
