Please join the SHM Middle TN Chapter in-person on Wednesday, November 9th at 6:00 p.m. CT at Maggiano's in Nashville, TN for a presentation titled "State of Hospital Medicine," provided by SHM's President-Elect, Dr. Kris Rehm.

Become more involved in your local SHM chapter while sharing new discoveries with your hospital medicine community. Submit your research abstract for the chance to present at the SHM Middle Tennessee Chapter's next in-person meeting. All IM/FM Residents and Medical Students are eligible to participate. Submission Deadline: Monday, October 17th at 11:59 p.m.

Announcement of Acceptance: Monday, October 24th

Finalist Announcement: Finalists will be invited to present their posters in-person and participate in a brief question & answer session with judges at the Chapter Meeting on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Nashville, TN.

The first place winner will receive automatic acceptance to the National Scientific Abstract Competition taking place at SHM's annual conference, Converge, March 26-29, 2023 in Austin, Texas and will be required to submit their abstract to the national submission site by the November 29, 2022 deadline in order to be accepted. This winner will also receive a $200 Amazon Gift Card and a complimentary registration to attend the conference as well as a complimentary one-year membership to SHM if not a current member. The second place winner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card and a complimentary one-year SHM Membership. The third place winner will receive a $50 Amazon gift card a complimentary one-year SHM Membership.
