The SHM Rocky Mountain Chapter will be holding an in-person event on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. MT at the Denver Aquarium in Denver, CO. In conjunction with June LGBTQ+ Pride Month, The Rocky Mountain Chapter will be hosting a lecture titled "When The Answers Aren't Straight Forward: LGBTQ+ Health For The Hospitalist," provided by Dr. Keshav Khanijow focused on care for LGBTQ+ patients in the hospital setting. His talk followed by Q&A will address topics around demographics and health disparities for LGBTQ+ patients, appropriate terminology, affirming language and documentation, transgender health, and clinical cases relevant in inpatient medicine.
